  4. Take the LRT Train service to Pasar Seni LRT station. Walk towards Central Market. When you reach the entrance of Central Market (it opens at 10:00 a.m.), walk in and right to the end, and as you step out you will see ‘Station Kopitiam’ kiosk on your left and artists painting portraits on your right. Just walk up the staircase on your left and you will see 'For Fork's Sake Restaurant and Bar'. We are just at the opposite of the restaurant and bar. (Just walk ahead).   6. You should visit KLCC, Aquaria KLCC, Bukit Bintang, Independence Square, Central Market, River of Life, KL Tower, KL Bird Park, National Monument, National Palace, National Museum, Royal Museum, National Mosque, Jamek Sultan Abdul Samad Mosque, Textile Museum, etc.

  7. You may get to the airport by taking the LRT train or monorail to KL Sentral, and take another train called ERL to KLIA. Bus service to the airport is also available at KL Sentral.

  8. You may buy beautiful Malaysia batik (Hand drawn or block printed) at Central Market, Jadi Batek Gallery, shops at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, Kamdar or at Wisma Yakin. Another recommendable product will be the Pewter wares and souvenirs, available at Royal Selangor Visitor Centre.

  9. Do try our Nasi Lemak (National dish) and wash it down with a nice hot glass of 'Teh' Tarik (Pulled tea) the National drink of Malaysia.

You should also try 'Durian', the King of Fruits, Mangosteen, the 'Queen of Fruits', Snake Skin fruit, Duku fruit, Rambutan fruit and street food like 'Pisang Goreng' (banana fritters), Rending Chicken/Beef, 'Char Kuey Teow' (fried flat noodles), Chicken Rice, 'Putu Mayam', 'ABC' (shaved ice dessert), Cendol, Dodol, Assam Laksa (almost similar to Penang assam laksa which ranked no.7 on the World's 50 Best Foods by CNN) to name a few.

  13. When it is the North-East Monsoon season, from November - March, the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia will be wettest. When it is the South-West Monsoon season, from May - September, the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia will be affected.

  14. The resorts will be closed from end of October to early March. This is because the sea is very choppy and dangerous.

  15. The best time to visit will be from March to October.

    • Do not wear yellow gold (necklace, earrings, bracelets, rings, or whatever)
    • Do not carry flashy handbags or lay them on the chair away from you in a restaurant. The best is not to carry a handbag. Keep your important items in a safe in your hotel room.
    • If you need to carry a bag, sling it over your shoulder and keep the front of the bag within view.
    • Do not lay your handphones on the table in a crowded place.
    • Be cautious whenever a motorcycle comes too close to you.
    • Do watch out for motorcycles, they are everywhere, left or right side of the road, on the pavement, one-way street, etc.
    • Bring a small personal alarm and do not walk alone in lonely alleys.
    • Do not take for granted that vehicles will stop for you at zebra crossing.

We require participants to our tours to bring their passports or photocopies of their passports for registration because the information that we compile is required by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and the Immigration Department, for the renewal of travel agency license and for tax redemption. Please note that the management reserves the final decision not to accept participants without complete registration details.

  17. Always have your travel insurance renewed, especially for hospitalisation, and if you do not have any, please take up one before you go for any holiday trips. For walking tours - Please use a good pair of walking shoes, sunscreen lotion, sunglasses (optional) and bring your bottle of water, keep drinking plain water to keep hydrated in hot Malaysia weather.
